Gerard Spicer is a Ph.D. Student in Musicology at the University of Florida. His current research focuses on the New York Philharmonic international tours in cooperation with the US Government's Cultural Presentations Program. He served as an adjunct professor of saxophone at the University of Florida from 2018-2019 and has premiered new works at North American Saxophone Alliance and Society of Composers Incorporated conferences. Gerard holds degrees from the University of Florida and the University of Western Ontario.
